Chris Brown is taking legal action in response to a lawsuit filed against him. Deanna sued Chris, alleging he pushed her to the ground in June 2013 outside Heat Ultra Lounge in Orange County, California, and that she injured a ligament in her right knee. She had described the alleged incident on TMZ Live two days later.
TMZ reports that Chris’s attorney, Mark Geragos, has now filed a defamation countersuit against Deanna. In the filing, Chris says he had no contact with her at all and was surrounded by security throughout the night. The filing also disputes her account of which leg was injured.
These are competing claims in court filings and nothing has been decided. TMZ’s report did not include a response from Deanna or her attorney to the countersuit.
