Chris Brown’s DC trial started on Friday and it’s already become a circus. Karrueche, Bow Wow, Tank and Chris’ mother showed up to support him as he faces charges for allegedly assaulting a DC man last October. Chris Brown’s bodyguard, who also faced charges, was found Guilty today and according to Chris’ defense team, they have not seen or heard from his lawyer since the guilty verdict. How do you lose a whole lawyer? I’m not sure, but the dramatics continue.
A limo driver who witnessed the October altercation lead to the guilty verdict regarding Chris’ bodyguard Christopher Hollosy, Chris’ bodyguard also refuses to testify on the stand in fear that he will incriminate himself. His testimony was expected to help Chris Brown. He was already found guilty, so at first I wasn’t sure what else he can say to incriminate himself. Then I figured he would be planning to appeal the verdict. Sucks for Chris. What also sucks for Chris Brown is that in the bodyguard’s trial, the Judge already found that Chris hit the victim, Parker Adams, in the arm and that the bodyguard did not have the right to step in because Adams did not respond with excessive force.
Chris’ defensed asked the judge that he be returned to LA for an April 23 hearing but it looks like he won’t be making the LA hearing because the DC trial was put on hold and will resume on Wednesday at 9:30am.
