Days after Sex and the City launched its reboot, news broke about the show’s actor, Chris Noth, being accused of sexual assault by two women.

One of the alleged female victims, identified as Zoe, told the Hollywood Reporter that Noth assaulted her in Los Angeles in 2004. She said following the incident, she had “blood on my shirt” and was taken to a hospital for stitches.

She said, “seeing that he was reprising his role in Sex and the City set off something in me.”

Another woman, who goes by Lily, accused Noth of assaulting her in New York in 2015. She recalls feeling “totally violated” and said, “All of my dreams with this star I loved for years were gone.”

Noth, widely known for his character Mr. Big on the HBO show, has since denied the allegations. “It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out,” he said. “I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

The claims against him came after the premiere of the “Sex and the City” reboot “And Just Like That, “which featured a major twist involving his character and Peloton.

Peloton moved fast to put together an ad featuring Noth, but hours after the allegations came forth, the ad was removed from social media.
