Despite rumors that Chris Rock and Will Smith have made up, it looks like it is far from the truth. Actually, the two haven’t spoken since the infamous slap.
TMZ claims from a direct source, that Chris was so stunned from the incident on stage that he retreated to his dressing room in total shock. The two haven’t spoken at all.
A source also claims that Chris had no clue of Jada was struggling with alopecia which she opened up about very recently during Red Table Talk.
“It was terrifying when it first started,” the actress previously said. “I was in the shower one day and had just handfuls of hair in my hands and I was just like, ‘Oh, my God, am I going bald?”
“That’s why I cut my hair — and why I continue to cut it. I just had [thought], ‘OK, I think we’re gonna do another layer of cutting,’ you know? And my hair has been a big part of me. Taking care of my hair has been a beautiful ritual, you know? And having the choice to have hair or not, and then one day to be like, ‘Oh, my God, I might not have the choice.”
After making remarks about Jada’s short hair and G.I. Jane 2, it rubbed the Smiths the wrong way resulting in Will Smith slapping the comedian silly on stage during the Oscars.
He followed with “keep my wife’s name out of your f**ing mouth.”
