Chris Rock isn’t for the Will Smith slander and wants no part of it.
As Chris Rock kicked off his “Ego Death” tour this Wednesday, there has been an outpour of support for the comedian. However, Thursday night, the crowd got a little rowdy.
One person yelled, “F*** Will Smith,” and Chris quickly defused the situation by saying, “no, no no.”
Security did end up tossing the heckler out among others so that Chris’s show wasn’t interrupted again. A kicked-out fan told the New York Post, “All we did was interact and respond to the comedian…They. are so afraid that someone is going to say something that they kicked us out before we could.”
Though the hecklers were tossed out, Chris found it in him to lighten the mood by joking, “Is that the Oscars security?”
This isn’t the first time the crowd got unruly during his comedy tour. During the first night of being sold out due to the Oscar fiasco, another fan yelled, “F*** Will Smith.” Chris didn’t acknowledge it. He said he was still processing what happened at the Oscars.
