Apparently you can’t have a glimpse of happiness without an ex from the past coming out of the woodworks. Ciara knows this all to well. After announcing her pregnancy earlier this week, her boyfriend from over 10 years ago took to Instagram to voyage down memory lane.
Ciara and LaKyle Thomas attended Riverdale High School and were high school sweethearts their senior year. The same day that Ciara announced she was 7 months pregnant on The View, LaKyle took to his Instagram to post a few throw back flicks.
“So Ciara was the woman Future was looking for. Lol. What we had in high school belongs to Future now. Congrats on the new baby,” he captioned one photo of he and Ciara at a pep rally.
Oh but he didn’t stop there. LaKyle also took to Facebook to post about Ciara.
“I truly loved Ciara in high school and still do. Guess it don’t matter about what WE had in the past cause you seem happy now. Congrats on the new baby Ciara.”
According to his Instagram, LaKyle is a model and actor who’s appeared (most likely as an extra) on Single Ladies, The Game, and Necessary Roughness.
After Lakyle’s posts made their way around the blogs, the model/actor took to his Instagram to clarify.
“I woke up being the talk on social media. Over Ciara and I high school pics.Lol. I never hated on her with anything I wrote. #LightinUp #ImGood #HappyForCiara” He adds, “They act like I said leave future and be with me.lol”
There is nothing worse than someone coming out of the woodworks. An ex-boyfriend tried the same thing when Beyonce married Jay Z. It has been over 10 years. Sir, where were you when Ciara was dating Bow Wow, 50 Cent or Amare Stoudemire? You are not about to eat off of Ciara’s 15 minutes. Find you some business and a stadium of seats.
