A former physical education teacher in Warren County, Ohio has been indicted on charges involving first grade students, according to the county prosecutor.
WCPO Cincinnati reported that the teacher, identified as Austin, was indicted on 36 counts of gross sexual imposition. Warren County Prosecutor David Fornshell said gym class video that was presented to the grand jury shows inappropriate contact with students between December 2018 and March 2019, and that 28 first graders are involved in the charges.
Each count of gross sexual imposition carries a penalty of up to five years in prison. An indictment is a formal charge and not a finding of guilt, and it was not clear from the reports whether Austin had responded to the charges.
