Claressa Shields Drops Receipts — Claims Maserati Bud Was “Crushed” Over Her Relationship and Refused to Delete Her Photos [Video]

Claressa Shields is offering more context about her connection to Maserati Bud after the online drama sparked by 50 Cent’s accusations that she cheated on Papoose with him.

During a lengthy Instagram Live on Saturday, the undisputed boxing champion explained that she first met Maserati Bud at an event in Shreveport connected to 50 Cent’s film studio launch in the city. According to Shields, 50 Cent had invited her to the event, and that is where she was introduced to Maserati Bud. She said the two later developed a friendship but insisted the relationship never became romantic or sexual.

Shields also claimed that Maserati Bud frequently recorded her whenever they were around each other. She told viewers that many of the videos now circulating online were filmed by him during those moments.

The boxer also shared screenshots of messages from 2025 that she says show her repeatedly asking Maserati Bud to remove photos of her from his Instagram page. According to Shields, he refused and allegedly told her that deleting the images would “mess up” the look of his page.

In another set of messages, Maserati Bud appeared upset after learning she had a boyfriend. Shields said he claimed she never told him she was in a relationship and told her he felt “crushed” by the news.

Shields also addressed how 50 Cent became involved in the situation. She wrote on Twitter, “First, this situation started New Year’s when @50cent decided to disrespect me and Papoose unprovoked, which led to rap beef & Papoose dissed him. Rather than responding through music like a true artist, he chose to make false claims about me and create a narrative suggesting that I had a sexual relationship with someone I have never been involved with in any capacity—no romantic or sexual contact whatsoever. Given his platform and influence with 38.9 million followers, legal action is now being pursued.”
