The undisputed boxing champion tweeted, “I want to start modeling… y’all think I can do it & be good at it?”
One user, posting under the name wop wop, gave a blunt response that quickly sparked friction. The user wrote, “Your attitude is not nice enough imo. You’re more likely to succeed as a talent manager.”
Shields didn’t take the comment lightly and fired back with a sharp reply, writing, “wtf u talking about dummy.”
The exchange continued as the user defended their original statement and pushed back against Shields’ reaction. “Dummy? Firstly have some respect as I have not disrespected you. And this is a clear example of what I mean. You’re more built to manage than to model,” the user responded. They added, “That’s not a comment on your looks because if you look at my comment history you will see otherwise. That would make you a dummy currently!”
Shields then replied again, dismissing the critique by saying, “Sybau you don’t know me.”
The commenter stood firm in their stance and ended the conversation with another pointed message: “don’t ask for opinions and not expect a real answer. Have some fucking respect.”
