Medina Islam is responding to Claudia Jordan’s allegation that he physically abused her during their relationship. Islam, who is now dating Phaedra Parks, denied the claim in a lengthy Instagram post.
“I am a lot of things, but one thing I am not is some WWF wrestler body slamming women across toilets,” Islam wrote. He called the allegation untrue.
In his post, Islam said he and Jordan dated for about six months and that he ended the relationship for good on August 28, 2016. He said Jordan became upset as he left, grabbed his phone and ran through the house. He said he stayed silent for four years out of respect for her, and he suggested she was seeking attention now that he is appearing on television.
Islam also said Jordan sent him photos of bruises in September 2016. He said he told her at the time to file a police report and that she did not. He said he has no criminal history.
The back and forth began when Jordan spoke on the Fox Soul show Cocktails with Queens. Jordan said the two had an argument, that she grabbed his phone, and that he was wrestling it out of her hand. She alleged that he body slammed her into a toilet. Jordan said she was inspired to speak out after Megan Thee Stallion shared her own story, and she said she never called the police.
