Columbus Short could be headed to court over a bar fight from earlier this year. According to TMZ, the lawyer for the man who was injured in a March bar fight says Columbus stopped honoring a settlement and that a lawsuit is on the way.
The lawyer told TMZ that a settlement in the range of several hundred thousand dollars had been discussed to cover medical expenses, including an expected surgery for facial fractures, plus pain and suffering. The lawyer claims Columbus pulled out after he lost his role on Scandal, saying his income had dropped.
The attorney says Columbus should expect legal papers very soon. No response from Columbus Short was included in the report, and these are claims made by the other side.
