“The Cosby Show” star #GeoffreyOwens was caught bagging groceries at Trader Joe’s.
It’s always fun to know what stars are doing after classic shows come to an end. Owens who played Elvin Tibideaux on “The Cosby Show” has found a new life working for Trader Joe’s in Clifton, New Jersey.
Elvin started off as an unlikeable character on the popular 1980s series, who at first seemed to value sexist ideas. However, over time his conservative views on gender roles subsided the more he spent time with the Huxtable family – in particular with Claire Huxtable who was portrayed by #PhyliciaRashad.

But it seems he’s turned to a new way of life. The Daily Mail first reported he was spotted by Karma Lawrence who was grocery shopping with her wife Yanelle on Saturday when the two recognized the sitcom star and snapped some pictures.

“I have never seen him at Trader Joe’s before,” Lawrence told DailyMail. “I was getting a bunch of groceries and he wasn’t really looking at anybody, but he said, ‘Have a nice day.'”
