Yesterday Baller Alert shared the story of Rymir, a 21 year old who says Jay Z is his father. Rymir’s mother, Wanda, has said that she and Jay Z were involved before he was famous, and Rymir says he has asked for a paternity test since 2010.
Now the site Diary of a Hollywood Street King says it obtained an alleged photo of a young Shawn Carter with Wanda. The site cited an unnamed insider who claimed Jay Z knew Wanda back then. That insider was not identified, and the claim has not been confirmed by anyone involved.
Rymir’s grandmother, who was once his legal guardian, told reporters she remains hopeful about the case. Jay Z has not publicly responded to the claim.
UPDATE: A reader contacted Baller Alert to say the woman in the photo is not Wanda, but a relative of the reader. That means the photo does not support the claim. We will keep you posted if anything new comes out.
