A 32-year-old woman and man were arrested for indecent exposure Sunday after being caught by multiple witnesses, including minors, having sex on the Ferris Wheel at Ohio’s Cedar Point.
Four witnesses in total caught the couple in the act and tried alerting staff but ended up telling security officers. At first, the woman denied sexual intercourse and said that she had shorts under her dress and dropped a pack of cigarettes, then bent over, which her friend helped her get up.
Then once FOX 8’s Ed and Peggy Gallek spoke with the couple and said that multiple witnesses saw them, they fessed up to sexual intercourse on the Giant Wheel ride at the amusement park.
One witness said to officers, “We got on, and it was going well until we stopped at the top. My friend saw the couple in front of us having sexual intercourse and pointed it out to the rest of us.”
It was two adults and two juvenile females that spotted the hook-up.
Once they pointed to the couple engaged in the inappropriate public act, the couple started laughing and proceeded.
“I was able to have a perfect view of their cart. They were going back and forth and laughing at us being visibly upset.”
The one juvenile witness says she was very shaken up about what she witnessed. Cedar Point has contacted the two juvenile females’ parents.
Since two witnesses were juveniles, the charge has been moved to a misdemeanor of the first degree. They were released on personal bonds but will be due back in court soon.
