Smash or Pass? Cup Noodles Is Bringing Wing Night to Your Microwave Just in Time for the Big Game

We’re a few weeks away from the big game, but one brand is already aiming for a spot in your Friday night football lineup. Cup Noodles is stepping into game day energy with three new limited-time flavors inspired by classic chicken wings, minus the sauce-stained fingers and fryer cleanup. The brand is remixing America’s favorite bar snack into easy slurpable form with Spicy Buffalo with Ranch, Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Parmesan ramen cups.

The focus is clearly on flavor without the fuss. Spicy Buffalo with Ranch brings that familiar vinegary heat, balanced out by a creamy, herby ranch finish that mimics the wing and dip combo fans swear by. Lemon Pepper leans into the dry rub crowd, layering bright citrus notes with cracked pepper, garlic, and onion for a sharp but savory bite. Garlic Parmesan rounds out the trio with rich cheese flavor, Italian herbs, and a slight tang that feels indulgent without being heavy.

According to Priscila Stanton of Nissin Foods, the goal was simple: deliver all the flavor of wings with none of the mess. Each cup is priced at $1.18 and rolling out exclusively at Walmart locations nationwide while supplies last.

While the wing-inspired lineup is stealing the spotlight, Cup Noodles has not slowed down elsewhere. The brand has also been experimenting with elevated ramen flavors, including bistro-style options and seasonal releases, demonstrating that instant noodles continue to surprise longtime fans long after game day.
