To the surprise of probably no one, Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars, Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas have officially called it quits. For now, at least.
The couple have been on the rocks for some time now. Thomas opened up a business that he would have to travel back and forth between Atlanta and Charlotte to manage. As the quick visits turned to long trips, the relationship appeared to be taking a turn for the worst. Bailey aired out her relationship woes on their reality show, including rumors of infidelity. Apparently, over time, things have not gotten any better.
The model told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that she and her husband are separated. Bailey lives in Atlanta and Thomas lives in Charlotte.
“I am definitely taking some time to myself to figure out how I want to move forward,” she said. “I don’t want to rush into anything, so I think this time apart is good for us.”
“And I think the space apart, I think he can appreciate it as well,” she continued, suggesting this was her decision. “Whether or not we decide to stay married or not, that’s something that we have to decide soon. But right now, I’m enjoying the time apart, taking time for myself.”
