Dame Dash’s latest appearance on The Breakfast Club sparked major headlines after Charlamagne Tha God questioned his announcement that he was serving as chairman of Revolt TV.

During the Tuesday morning interview, Charlamagne pressed Dash on the lack of official confirmation from major media outlets, creating an immediate on-air clash.

Not long after leaving the studio, Dash went to Instagram to issue a direct warning.

“Charlemagne, I would advise you not to make up phony sources without real names, saying that anything I said was not true, or we will have a legal problem,” he wrote. “Don’t try to compromise my reputation. I have proof to support everything I say that will stand up in any court.”

Vibe later reported that Dash had partnered with Revolt through his AmericaNu Network and would hold the chairman position for one month. CEO Detavio Samuels even praised Dash’s cultural impact in a statement, noting that his influence in hip hop remained strong after three decades.

But within hours, the situation grew more complicated. Journalist Loren LoRosa reported on Twitter that a Revolt publicist had denied Dash’s position as chairman. Samuels then publicly denied Dash’s role as chairman of the company or any active acquisition deal.

Dash, never one to let the record stand uncontested, responded on Instagram with a screenshot of LoRosa’s post and a sharp message.

“Here goes the bulls**t, I’m the chairman for the month. If I acquire, I will be official chairman please stop playing with words. Just take that L,” he wrote. He followed up by posting a series of emails and text exchanges that he said proved his involvement with Revolt.

The conflicting reports have only added to the drama, with fans and industry watchers debating the legitimacy of Dash’s claim.
