N.B.A. All-Star Weekend is quickly approaching, and more details are being released the closer it gets to the upcoming festivities.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, not only is Damian Lillard set to participate in the three-point contest, but the point guard is also set to blaze the stage and light up the night with a special performance.
Lillard, whose stage name is Dame D.O.L.L.A., is no stranger to the music world as he has released three albums since 2016, with his most recent ‘Big D.O.L.L.A.’ coming out last August right before training camp began.
Throughout his musical career, he has collaborated with artists such as Lil Wayne, Jeremih, Paul Rey, and more.
The performance is set to take place during Saturday’s festivities at the United Center, including the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest.
The 2020 N.B.A. All-Star Game is set to take place Sunday, Feb. 16, at 8:00 p.m.
It has not yet been revealed if Lillard will bring special guests out during his set, but social media users have suggested he bring N.B.A. legend Shaquille O’Neal out to join him on the big stage since the two have a “rap beef.”
