Damon Wayans Jr. wants to switch up his custody arrangements with former “Basketball Wives” Star, Aja Metoyer, and get full custody of their daughters.
The actor claims Metoyer doesn’t take their children’s education seriously. According to The Blast, Wayans says that their daughters are “suffering scholastically” due to their mother’s “inability to prioritize their education.”
Their daughters, 13 and 15, are “habitually absent” or tardy to class. Wayans says with Metoyer having full custody, it’s her responsibility to get the children to school on time and to ensure that they complete their homework. Instead of one of his daughters going to summer school to avoid falling behind in class, Metoyer took her on a cruise.
Wayans isn’t the only celebrity Aja Metoyer has children with. She is also the mother of Dwyane Wade’s 4-year-old son he had while on break with Gabrielle Union.
In court documents, Wayans brings up Wade alleging that Metoyer irresponsibly spends child support money. “ I do not know how [Metoyer] spends the child support money she receives from me or the father of [Metoyer’s] other child, a 4-year-old whose father is basketball star Dwayne Wade.”
The two are scheduled to attend a child custody mediation on October 31 and discuss the actor’s request.
