Damon Wayans Sr. dropped a bombshell during his appearance on Club Shay Shay, revealing he once dated his nephew’s ex-girlfriend.
“I got divorced and I was by myself for two years,” Wayans Sr. recalled. “And then I saw [my nephew’s ex] and I was just like, ‘Oh my God. I’m in love.’”
But then things got complicated. “And then I found out my nephew had dated [her].”

Wayans Sr. didn’t keep quiet about it though. When he reached out to his nephew, the response was simple: “That’s you.”
Unfazed, Wayans Sr. stated, “Pass the Courvoisier, let’s go!” and admitted he “went ahead and fell in love” anyway.
Joking with host Shannon Sharpe, he even threw in a reference to Jermaine Jackson marrying his brother Randy Jackson’s ex, Alejandra Oaziaza, asking, “Have you ever done the Jackson 5?”
Sharpe raised the question of whether family members’ exes are “off-limits.” To which Wayans Sr. fired back, “You know how small the pool is out here in Cali? The dating pool?”
It’s clear, Wayans Sr. isn’t stressing the family drama, but let’s be real… family reunions gotta be awkward as hell.
