So yesterday we reported that former NFL Pro-Bowl safety, Darren Sharper is facing another sexual assault charge, but this time in Las Vegas. It’s been confirmed that Sharper has reached a plea agreement that will address ALL charges against him in four different states: California, Arizona, Louisiana, and Nevada.
One source has documented that “Sharper has been jailed in L.A. ever since he was charged by the Los Angeles County district attorney with seven felony counts on Valentine’s Day, 2014. Grand juries in Tempe, Arizona, and New Orleans returned indictments charging Sharper with sexual assault and administering dangerous drugs (in the Arizona case) and aggravated rape and simple rape (in the Louisiana case).”
Details of the plea are currently unavailable, but Sharper is scheduled to enter it on Monday in a Los Angeles court. It has been said by District Attorney, Steve Wolfson, that Sharper will serve “significant time behind bars,” regardless of where it will be served.
