Dave Chappelle is going to do what he does no matter whose feathers get ruffled. The comedian didn’t hold back from making Transgender, Disabled, and LBGTQ+ jokes despite receiving backlash.

In his new Netflix special, “The Dreamer,” the comedian pretty much opens up with a joke about trans people.

Following the joke, Chappelle promised to lay off the community but proceeded to make more jokes about them throughout the rest of the show.

At one point, he joked about getting locked up and said if that ever happened he hoped to be incarcerated in California, where he could identify as a woman and be imprisoned with other females. He went on to say he would make other inmates “suck this girl d*** I got,” without having to explain himself.

According to TMZ, DC also joked about the disabled community, including taking a jab at ex-Congressman Madison Cawthor. He also  said he’d start making fun of them because “they’re not as organized as the gays” and he loves “punching down.”

Of course, Chappelle went on to speak on other issues, like the Will Smith and Chris Rock incident.

But this time around, the backlash hasn’t mounted against the comedian. Following his 2021 special, he caught a lot of heat for his similar remarks.
