According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Tammy died from serious injuries after her vehicle struck a tree. Investigators said a mechanical inspection found her car’s brake lines had been cut, and the car kept accelerating into the tree.
Her boyfriend, John, now faces a charge of criminal homicide. CBS reported, citing court documents, that John told authorities he cut the lines to make a pipe because Tammy was pressuring him to find one.
