Deiondra Sanders appears to be speaking out after Jacquees got candid about his past with Dreezy and the messy timing of their relationship. The conversation picked up fast online after Jacquees admitted during a livestream with Jordyn Lucas that he may not have fully closed one chapter before stepping into another.
During the interview, Jacquees addressed the public drama that fans have long connected to him, Deiondra, and Dreezy. Jordyn brought up the “love triangle” conversation and noted that many fans were once rooting for Jacquees and Dreezy, who had been together for several years.
Jacquees did not dodge the history. Instead, he said he has “a lot of respect for Dreezy” and admitted the way their relationship ended was “a little sloppy” because it spilled onto the internet. Then he said the part that immediately had people rewinding the clip: his heart was not fully out of that relationship at the time.
According to Jacquees, he thought he was ready for something new, but looking back, he now sees it differently. He explained that a person is not really ready for something else until they are completely done with what came before. He also said he was moving fast and knew he wanted a family, with having a son being at the top of his mind.
Jacquees said that when he got with Deiondra, things happened quickly. However, he also admitted that if he could go back, he would have handled the situation differently. He said he would have made sure his chapter with Dreezy was fully closed so Dreezy would not have had to deal with embarrassment and Deiondra would not have had to put herself out there under certain assumptions.
He also made it clear that he does not regret his son, calling him his whole world. Still, Jacquees said he wants everyone involved to be respected. He said he wants Deiondra to be happy, build businesses, make money, provide for their son, and continue being a great mother. He also praised Dreezy as a talented artist and writer, saying she deserves respect in her field.
Then Deiondra’s posts started circulating.
In screenshots from Deiondra Sanders’ account, she wrote, “People always say I could’ve had anybody, an athlete etc and that’s true but I don’t date people based off their money. The truth is, I fell in love and was sold a dream, later to find out I was just a rebound.”
She followed that with another post, writing, “I was so in love that I ignored every warning. My family tried to tell me. Even his ex tried to tell me. Matter of fact, she made a whole song about it, and I still convinced myself that what we had was real. I just feel hurt, disappointed, and honestly, I need some time.”
Minutes later, Deiondra added, “I take full accountability.”
Although Deiondra did not name Jacquees directly in the posts shown, the timing has fans connecting her words to his livestream comments. The “sold a dream” line especially hit hard after Jacquees admitted he was moving fast and had not fully separated emotionally from his past with Dreezy.
The tension here is layered because Jacquees’ comments sounded like accountability, but Deiondra’s response shows how late accountability can still land with a sting. He may be trying to clear the air now, but her posts suggest she is processing what she believes she ignored while she was in love.
