Delicia Cordon is pushing back on a report that she is no longer sure her ex, Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy, had anything to do with the home invasion that left her hurt.
Cordon, a fashion designer, told police that masked intruders broke into a Georgia home owned by McCoy in the early morning hours last Tuesday, hit her in the face with a gun and stole jewelry. In a 911 call that was made public, she said she thought the attack had something to do with her ex. McCoy has denied any involvement, calling the claims completely false in a tweet and saying he has had no direct contact with the people involved in months. No criminal charges have been filed.
Days later, her attorney, Tanya Mitchell Graham, told CBS News that Cordon was no longer certain McCoy was involved. The attorney also said some of the stolen jewelry had been a birthday gift from McCoy.
Cordon is now disputing that account. She reportedly responded to the news with a short and pointed message: “Oh I am certain! Watch.”
McCoy has not been charged with anything, and investigators have not publicly tied him to the attack. We will keep you posted as more comes out.
