The woman behind the 911 call that kicked off a foot chase which led to Young Scooter’s demise has spoken out.

Demi Blanco, an aspiring influencer, took to Instagram Live on Tuesday, claiming she’s being unfairly attacked over Scooter’s death. She insists the full story hasn’t been told, contradicting her original emergency call.

Demi initially told Atlanta Emergency Services on March 28th that a naked woman was being beaten outside an Atlanta home, urging police to intervene. Now, she says she dialed 911 to “protect herself” and claims she was a victim of abuse multiple times.

Audio from the call reveals Demi struggled to describe the alleged abuser to dispatch. Atlanta PD found no evidence matching her report but did encounter Scooter and another man moments before the rapper fled, suffering a fatal arterial injury while jumping a fence.

Police maintain they never fired at Scooter, but Young Thug is calling their account a lie, blaming APD gang investigator Marissa Viverito for an alleged cover-up.  However, the APD released a statement pushing back against the claims, saying, “While we understand that many people are saddened by his passing, it is important to recognize that Atlanta police officers neither discharged their firearms nor used any force against Mr. Bailey.”

With Demi’s identity now known, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is seeking to question her—meaning more revelations could be on the way.
