Denny’s is stepping straight into sneaker culture with a move nobody saw coming. The chain just unveiled Sticky Kicks, limited-edition high-tops that come with actual Denny’s syrup sealed inside the shoe panels.
The brand teamed up with designer Mache to build a sneaker that looks ready for a runway and a breakfast table at the same time. The shoes feature syrup-colored patent leather, clear panels showing off the sealed maple syrup, yellow accents, and a bold Denny’s heel badge. Adult sizes range from 8 to 13.
The drop hits on December 17 at noon to mark National Maple Syrup Day, with pairs priced at $195 exclusively on DinerDrip.com. Denny’s Rewards members get early access one hour before the public. The chain also made it clear the syrup is purely decorative and not to be opened, eaten, or tampered with.
It’s the latest playful stunt from a brand that knows how to tap into pop culture’s love for outrageous collabs. With sneaker drops becoming more theatrical every year, Denny’s is betting nostalgia, novelty, and breakfast-table humor can hold their own in a crowded hype market.
