Derrick Rose is sick and tired of being sick and tired. According to ESPN, the Cleveland Cavaliers guard has left the team and has taken some time off to re-evaluate his future.

Although Rose’s current absence is excused, sources tell the publication that it remains unclear if Rose will return and it’s all because of the growing frustration with his constant injuries. “He’s tired of being hurt and it’s taking a toll on him mentally,” a team source told ESPN.

Since the baller’s 2012 ACL tear, Rose has been plagued with injuries, playing in a little more than half of a possible 412 regular-season games. In late October, after an attempt at a fresh start in Cleveland, the guard rolled his ankle after a flagrant foul from Greg Monroe. Just last week, the team put Rose in a walking boot to get the pressure off what the baller called a “jacked-up ankle,” but he revealed to ESPN at the time that he was still “trying to figure it out,” as he was unsure how long he would be out with injury.

However, Rose’s absence from the team is not the first time the baller disappeared. Last season, Rose went missing for what he described as a “family issue,” that had “nothing to do with the team or basketball.” This time though, a spokesperson for the team says this absence, which has been excused, is completely different, especially since he has discussed it with the team.
