Desperate women that support men, what do we think of them? Judging by the title of this post you can get an idea of how I feel about the situation. Keyword: Desperate.
Let me start off by saying I hate when people fall back on gender roles. I believe men can do the dishes and women can mow the lawn. I believe that women can pay for the dates sometimes and that she doesn’t have to wait on a man to ask her out. I’m a 21st Century chick HOWEVER since men cannot birth babies I do not see the reasoning behind a woman providing for an able bodied man. I’ll make an exception for stay at home dads who help run the home while the career mom does her thing. What I can’t do is sit by and act like I condone women taking care of a man when she doesn’t have to. Why does she do it? Again, Keyword: Desperate. Usually these types of women know deep down inside that the only way they can keep a man is to pay for him. She’s probably been through a lot of failed relationships or no relationships at all. I can also assume that her confidence has to be low, otherwise she would feel she had something other than her money to offer men.
The problem with this behavior is that it becomes habit. A woman who takes care of a man never really stops there. She’s probably taken care of men before or will likely do it again. She doesn’t want to be lonely so she does what she needs to do to make him stay. She never truly realizes that if he wants to go, he’s going to go whether you know about it or not. Men know what questions to ask to be able to spot a desperate woman, just like women know how to spot a potential sugar daddy. My issue is, what kind of man do you have to be to take money from a woman?
