Even with the pandemic forcing distance between them, the ladies of Destiny’s Child showed up via Zoom to support Kelly Rowland as she gave birth to her second son back in January.
Rowland spoke with PEOPLE (The TV Show!), where she revealed that her January 21st labor was witnessed on video chat by her and husband Tim Weatherspoon’s loved ones. This included her group mates and best friends, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, and Bey’s mother, Tina Knowles.
She called her “sisters” “awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome” aunts who met baby Noah immediately.
Rowland has always been vocal about her love for Bey and Michelle. In a February interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Motivation” singer got emotional, describing the first time her besties met Noah in person.
“The girls were literally over here at the house just recently, and when they met the baby, it was like another part of my heart just … being able to share space with Michelle and Bey is truly a gift.”
Kelly Rowland and Weatherspoon married in May 2014. The couple shares a six-year-old son, Titan Jewell, born in November 2014.
