Back in 2012 we wrote about Helen, a backup dancer (and Trey Songz ex-girlfriend), who got “engaged” (more tea on that below) to NBA Baller Terrence Williams. It seems like the two were living in their fairytale world, going on lavish vacays and enjoying each other’s company every chance they could. Up until about 11 weeks ago you could find them both posting loving photos and videos of each other on their Instagram pages. Then suddenly it all stopped and now Terrence, who no longer plays for the NBA, has posted a cryptic message on IG that may lead one to wonder if the couple have called it quits.
Terrence writes:
“Extended From a friendship, told tales to one another that made stories come together, you would never cry again you believe? Fake shit was overruling the real, Pictures was always snapped because they said a thousand words would be a tale. Could you put your all into something that’s so empty, them boats was supposed to show you a diff tide, no ride but YALL rode, you kick the bucket so spill it, I came out scared my self that fire rearranged everything, broken frames torn memories open for judgement, damn you can only mask hurt for so long”
Here’s the fluffy, happy stuff: Helen Gedlu and Terrence Williams have known each other for a long time. They reportedly grew up together in Seattle. The two got engaged after dating for less than a year but when you know someone that long, does it matter how long you “date”?
Now, there’s a ton of tea on these two online. They say Helen used to date Kanye West and that Terrence used to date her cousin back in the day in Seattle. Helen and Trey supposedly have matching tattoos & Trey Songz was deeply in love with her. In his interviews he would always say there were two people he’s ever loved, Helen and Lauren London. Apparently he and Helen never lost contact. Could also explain why Trey and girlfriend Tayana Henry broke up recently. There’s more: the gossip around the web is that Helen’s engagement was a fraud. She was flaunting a fake ring that she’s been having for a while BEFORE announcing the engagement. In 3 years she and Terrence never got married so maybe there’s truth to that.
Helen has been tweeting some Trey lyrics also. Why this in particular?
So the recent tweets from Helen, and Terrence’s semi-poetic rant on Instagram make me wonder if Helen has run back to the arms of Trey.
