Diddy’s team is making noise in court, claiming he can’t get on the phone from behind bars. According to an exclusive report by All Hip-Hop, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian is stepping in, demanding an investigation into why the rap mogul can’t reach his attorneys.
His lawyers told the court he hasn’t even used his 300-minute monthly call allowance, suggesting it’s a technical glitch, not overuse.
“We’ve had difficulty communicating with our client,” said defense attorney Marc Agnifilo. “This limits his ability to help prepare his defense.”
The legal team, Agnifilo, Teny Geragos, Alexandra Shapiro, Jason Driscoll, and Anna Estevao, filed a request for 500 minutes monthly and extended video conferencing till 9 p.m. They stressed the extra time is critical for trial prep, especially after hours and on weekends.
Diddy, still locked up without bail, is facing serious federal charges including racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transporting people for prostitution. As the trial continues, Diddy faces a minimum of 15 years. Court proceedings resume on June 9th.
