Diddy faces another anxious day in court as the judge overseeing his federal sex trafficking and racketeering trial delays ruling on his defense team’s latest motion for a mistrial.

On Monday morning, Judge Arun Subramanian opened day 19 of proceedings by announcing he won’t address the motion until Tuesday. Diddy’s legal team filed the request Saturday, arguing that prosecutors relied on false testimony. The defense pointed to a contradiction in Cassie Ventura’s account of an alleged incident where Diddy supposedly dangled Bryana Bongolan over a balcony.

While Cassie testified to witnessing the act, texts she sent to Diddy employee Kristina Khorram suggest otherwise. “I just found out some crazy sh*t” she allegedly messaged, indicating she heard about the event after it occurred.

Further complicating the timeline, prosecutors submitted photos of Bongolan’s injuries as evidence, claiming they were inflicted during the alleged balcony incident. However, metadata on the images shows they were taken on September 26, 2016, a date Diddy’s lawyers say he was on the East Coast, far from the Los Angeles location of the alleged event.

Judge Subramanian allowed prosecutors to respond to the mistrial motion Monday, but confirmed no decision would come until the next day.

Meanwhile, “Jane,” a former girlfriend of Diddy’s testifying under a pseudonym, is expected to resume her gripping testimony. Last week, she spoke of drug use, physical tolls, and disturbing “freak-off” episodes involving Diddy and others.

This marks the second mistrial motion filed by Diddy’s team amid the high-profile case.
