As Diddy’s high-profile trial winds down, his defense team went full throttle, portraying the Bad Boy mogul’s controversial behavior as eccentric but not criminal. In closing arguments, attorney Marc Agnifilo told jurors, “The trial of the evidence is a lifestyle … you want to call it swingers.”

The defense leaned into a narrative that Diddy’s indulgent behavior, including drugs, threesomes, and lavish sex parties, was personal choice, not racketeering.

“They want to use drugs and threesomes as racketeering … that is the false trial,” Agnifilo argued.

Agnifilo didn’t shy away from the 2016 video of Diddy beating Cassie Ventura, calling it “very much, very much domestic violence,” but maintained it wasn’t sex trafficking.

“The video is terrible, it’s nothing but terrible,” he told jurors. He also noted, “They loved. They loved out loud,” suggesting Cassie stayed with Diddy by choice.

On the issue of drug use, Agnifilo admitted, “He obviously has a drug problem,” but insisted it was for personal use, not distribution. “You wouldn’t see Beyoncé in CVS,” he quipped, explaining why Diddy used others to procure substances.

Mocking the prosecution’s evidence haul, Agnifilo said, “They got the baby oil! And they found the personal use drugs! Thank goodness for the special response team.”

Prosecutor Christy Slavik countered, asking jurors to end Diddy’s years of alleged abuse.

”It’s time to hold him accountable,” she said. “That stops now.”

Final verdict deliberations are set to begin following the defense’s wrap-up.
