In a major development in Diddy’s high-profile federal trial, sources confirm to People that the music mogul will not testify in his own defense.

As the trial stretches into its sixth week, prosecutors continue to present their case, alleging the Revolt founder ran a criminal operation that included sex trafficking and coercion. Despite rumors, his team has opted to keep him off the stand.

Attorney Marc Agnifilo once told Hulu’s “The Downfall of Diddy,” “I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. He is very eager to tell his story,” but that appears to have changed. Legal experts say testifying would expose Diddy to damaging cross-examination and impact his 60-plus pending civil suits.

Inside the courtroom, Diddy’s behavior has been under scrutiny. Judge Arun Subramanian warned him on June 5th about facial gestures toward the jury. He’s also been seen blowing kisses to his mother during breaks.

Two key accusers, known as “Mia” and “Jane,” described alleged abuse, while Cassie Ventura delivered emotional testimony about their 11-year relationship. Yet former prosecutor Jennifer Biedel remains skeptical: “If the jury had to decide today, I don’t think they would convict.”

Diddy maintains his innocence. A jury of eight men and four women will soon decide his fate.
