DJ Akademiks Accuses Lil Baby’s Team of Paying Him $30K, Then Setting Him Up During Heated Miami Run-In [Video]

The war of words between DJ Akademiks and Lil Baby has officially turned into a high-stakes financial feud. In his latest string of explosive livestreams, Akademiks dropped a bombshell allegation, claiming that Lil Baby’s camp previously cut him a check for $30,000.

According to Ak, the five-figure payment was intended to get him to “chill” on his relentless criticism of the rapper’s recent musical output and album rollouts.

However, with a recent run-in during a Miami trip, things quickly soured. Akademiks alleges that despite the payout, Baby’s camp backdoored him by sending an associate known as K Rich to confront and allegedly swing on him while he was in the city. While Lil Baby has reportedly denied any direct involvement in the physical altercation, Akademiks isn’t buying the “hands-off” excuse.

Ak has now significantly raised the price for his silence. He made it clear that if the rapper wants him to truly pivot and “fall back” from the beef now, the previous discount is off the table. The new price tag? A cool $300,000.

“You ducked and then had your p***y a** assistant– I’ll squabble with you any time,” Ak shouted during a viral clip, addressing the scuffle. “I’m gonna make this loud. You gotta respond to this. You’re gonna either be p***y or you’re gonna stand on it and say, ‘I did backdoor that p***y a** n***a. He thought we was cool.'”

The tension between the two has been brewing since Baby’s 2022 album “It’s Only Me,” where the rapper took shots at Ak’s claims of being wealthier than the artists he covers. But after this alleged Miami “backdoor” move, Akademiks seems less interested in being “cool” and more interested in the “pile of garbage” he predicts Lil Baby’s next project will be.

“I hope everyone in your family dies if you ever deny this,” Ak remarked in a chilling doubling-down of his claims. “I will never take it back, because I do not lie.”

With the price for peace now sitting at nearly a third of a million dollars, the hip-hop world is watching to see if Lil Baby will pay up or if this feud will continue throughout 2026.
