The drama between Tyrese and DJ Envy has boiled over into this week, with new allegations being hurled from both sides.
Envy’s wife, Gia Casey, joined the conversation on Tuesday’s Breakfast Club taping, offering her side of the fallout with the singer. Envy called her during the show, and over the phone, she revealed that during the couple’s friendship with Tyrese, he began flirting with her. While both Envy and Casey praised the “Baby Boy” star for helping save their marriage as they dealt with Envy’s affair, Casey said she began to feel uncomfortable.
“There was times where I felt like he was extremely demanding of my time and of my attention,” Casey shared, adding that Tyrese would get “very angry” whenever she was not immediately available to speak with him.
Days ago, Envy and Tyrese faced off over why they were no longer friends. The singer says he was on psych meds during the time of the alleged inappropriate texts to Casey and does not remember them. However, after the show aired, Tyrese accused the Envy and Charlamagne Tha God of being unwelcoming to him during his recent appearance and making false accusations. This led to Envy once again responding and bringing Casey into the mix to clear her name.
Casey would like to speak only generally about the situation, stating that the flirtation from Tyrese was too uncomfortable for her to detail specifics. However, the actor says he continued to communicate with Casey last month despite Envy claiming he and Casey had blocked the R&B superstar.
