The 2018 Global Spin Awards nominations are here and the nominees include some of hip-hop’s big stars.

Among the nominees are Kid Capri, FunkMaster Flex, DJ Mustard, DJ Khaled, and ‘The Breakfast Club’s DJ Envy.

The awards show recognizes the outstanding nominees in over 30 different categories including DJ of the Year, Female DJ of the Year, and Celebrity DJ of the Year.

“DJs are innovators, continuously changing the industry through their creative sounds and love for music. The Global Spin Awards was created to spotlight the industry and honor these artists,” said Shawn Prez, Founder of the Global Spin Awards. “We are recognizing the top DJs for their achievements and contributions to the music industry and our culture”.

The 2018 honorees have also been announced. For the annual show, Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer #Timbaland is set to receive the “Lifetime Achievement Award,” while CEO of So So Def, #JermaineDupri, will receive the “Breaking Barriers Award.”
