DJ Vlad discloses that he neither collaborated nor provided any information that resulted in the arrest of Duane “Keefe D” Davis.

During a recent interview with Bomb1st, the owner of VladTV expressed his surprise, much like others closely involved in the case, regarding the arrest of Davis for the 1996 murder of Tupac. Nevertheless, he mentioned that it remained uncertain whether the prosecution would opt for a trial for the accused killer or pursue a plea bargain.

“They tried to go down that route,” he said. “I’ve gotten a bunch of phone calls and emails and stuff like that. But I’m not cooperating with this.”

Upon further questioning, Vlad maintained his stance, stating that he had no intention of providing the so-called “uncut” versions of his interviews, which appeared to be the information the police were seeking.

“My thing — and I’ve always held this stance when it comes to people — is that I’m not going to have you come to my platform and do an interview with you, only to then work against you with the police,” he said. “Regardless of what people think I really do, the reality is … if you interview on my platform, and the police try to approach me on it, I’m always going to say no.”

Nevertheless, Davis is facing a Category A felony charge, specifically murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang. The prosecution contends that Davis committed the murder of Tupac on behalf of the South Side Compton Crips.
