Basketball Wives LA star Jackie Christie reportedly posted a private photo of herself to her Instagram page by mistake on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, then removed it shortly afterward. According to reports including VladTV, which cited MediaTakeOut, the image had already been copied and shared by the time it came down.
The photo has not been reproduced here. Jackie has not been quoted publicly in the reports we reviewed, so what she intended with the post has not been confirmed. Some commentators have guessed that it was meant for a direct message, and others have wondered whether it was a publicity move for the show. Neither theory has been confirmed.
Jackie has been open about her life on social media and on the show, and this moment is another reminder of how quickly a deleted post can travel. We will keep an eye out for any statement from her.
