BIA Apologizes To Doja Cat For Shading Her In The Past, But Doja Says She’s Too Grown To "Give A F**k"

Doja Cat was enjoying BIA’s music on a livestream when fans tried to turn the moment into a history lesson, and she was not interested. A clip circulating from the stream shows viewers warning Doja that BIA had allegedly shaded her in the past while Doja continued showing love to the rapper’s music. When viewers brought up the alleged shade, Doja made it clear she had no plans to revisit old internet drama.

“I don’t give a f**k about that. I’m, I just wanna say something like people being like she shaded you. I don’t, I’m not in high school. I’m not in high school. I’m a 30-year-old woman.”

BIA apparently appreciated the response. In a message posted on X after the livestream, she thanked Doja for playing her music and directly addressed her own past behavior. A repost of BIA’s statement shows her offering an apology without trying to argue over what did or did not happen years ago.

“THANK YOU @DojaCat . I genuinely apologize for anything i ever said that was shady. I appreciate u playing my songs. I’ve always liked your music as well. Wishing you nothing but peace love and blessings.”

Tweet by BIA (verified) thanking @DojaCat, apologizing for past remarks and sending peace and blessings (orange heart).

The livestream praise comes as BIA has music in circulation with the song, “FEISTY,” which was released on March 6, 2026 with collaborator, Fred Again.

The older BIA and Doja Cat history goes back several years. The rappers were both featured on Cousin Stizz’s “Perfect (Remix),” which was released on February 14, 2020. Around that period, alleged tension between the two women began circulating, with accusations that BIA had taken shots at Doja after their collaboration.

What BIA actually said is harder to establish with certainty today. A 2021 discussion in the Popheads community described BIA as having tweeted or liked posts suggesting Doja was using cocaine during an Instagram Live. Doja Cat allegedly co-signed similar claims that BIA made comments involving alleged drug use and issues surrounding their collaboration.

Doja’s livestream response also fits with comments she has made about rap beefs more broadly. In 2024, Doja rejected attempts to manufacture feuds between herself and other artists, saying her peers had been welcoming and calling the online obsession with rap beefs childish.

For BIA, the moment offered an opportunity to clear the air without adding another round to a years old social media dispute. For Doja, it was even simpler. Whatever shady comments may have circulated in the past were not enough to stop her from enjoying another artist’s music in the present.
