Doja Cat‘s mother alleges that her son is physically and verbally abusing both her and the pop star, as per reports submitted to a judge.
Recent legal documents acquired by TMZ reveal that Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, Doja Cat’s mother, has filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, seeking protection for both herself and Doja Cat.
She alleges that Raman knocked out her daughter’s teeth, inflicted cuts and bruises, and also damaged or stole Doja’s property.
Additionally, she states that Raman is verbally abusive towards his famous sister in a degrading and demeaning manner and his actions have left Doja feeling “unsafe and traumatized.”
As for her, Raman has physically abused and threatened her several times in the past year, with the latest incident happening earlier this month.
According to TMZ, a judge approved the court-ordered protection for Doja’s mom pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order. However, the judge has advised Doja Cat to file her own request for protection.
It’s worth noting that Doja Cat’s mom had a previous protection order filed against her son, but it has since expired.
