Kenny Stills of the Miami Dolphins says his life has been threatened numerous times since criticizing Dolphins owner Stephen Ross for supporting Donald Trump. However, Stills isn’t worried, as he said what he said (Nene Leakes voice).

The 27-year-old called Ross out on Twitter earlier this week stating he was a hypocrite for running a charity for “equality” while also supporting Trump, who is known for inciting violence and doesn’t believe inequality. “You can’t have a nonprofit with this mission statement then open your doors to Trump,” Stills tweeted.

The tweet garnered much backlash online, and Stills said between five to ten people have threatened to kill him for his opinion. But he took the time during a post-game locker room press session to elaborate on his thoughts, while still holding strong on his stance.

“Our country’s in a rough place right now, and I think we could be doing more. I think there’s other candidates that he could support. It’s not about Democrat or Republican or any of those things. It’s literally about why. Why are you trying to help this man raise money to continue to do things that he’s been doing?”

He continued, “It just doesn’t make sense to me. It just doesn’t align to be running a nonprofit focused on equality and talking about sports and equality and then to be holding a fundraiser for a man that we know isn’t standing up for that same cause or championing that same cause.”

Ross released a statement this week in response to Stills, defending himself saying, “I have known Donald Trump for 40 years, and while we agree on some issues, we strongly disagree on many others, and I have never been bashful about expressing my opinions.
