Doritos has unveiled two new flavors inspired by two of the world’s favorite condiments.
The chip company has introduced Doritos Ketchup and Doritos Spicy Mustard to the United States market, a perfect addition to those after-school snack choices. Doritos Spicy Mustard combines the classic nacho cheese taste with Chinese mustard. Meanwhile, Doritos Ketchup follows the same recipe but with a hint of tomato-based condiment. While the mustard-inspired flavor may be new, Canadians have been enjoying the ketchup-flavored chips for quite some time.
The company announced its latest creation in a tweet on Friday, encouraging fans to try the new chip as a topping on hotdogs.
These two new flavors are on brand for the company, which debuted its Tangy Ranch flavor last summer. Other unique offerings in the Doritos family include Flamin’ Hot Cool Ranch, Flamin’ Hot Nacho chips, and Spicy Sweet Chili. Another newbie is the Twisted Southwest Ranch Doritos, sold exclusively at Sam’s Club.
Doritos Ketchup and Doritos Spicy Mustard are only available for a limited time on Frito-Lay’s website, Snacks.com. A 9.25-ounce bag is selling for $5.59.
