Dr. Cheyenne Bryant is standing ten toes down when it comes to her professional title.

In a recent conversation with Marissa Mitchell, the life coach and media personality made it clear that she isn’t interested in playing the “show and tell” game with her academic credentials. Despite the public speculation and constant questioning regarding the validity of her doctoral degree, Bryant is refusing to budge.
“I’ve earned the title. I have multiple degrees and I’m not going to prove anything to anybody,” Bryant said. For her, this isn’t about public approval; it’s about a higher calling. “My obedience is to God, not to people. And so as long as I’m in His will and I’m serving and I’m doing His word, my sheep will know my voice.
Things got tense when Mitchell asked the million dollar question, if you can’t or won’t produce the paperwork, why not just drop “Doctor” from the name? Bryant didn’t flinch, arguing that her track record and the results of her live sessions are all the proof necessary.
“My proof isn’t something that I have to prove to individuals. My proof is already within my credentials, my degrees. More than titles, it’s how effective I’ve been,” she explained. Bryant suggested that the skepticism isn’t actually about facts, but about people being uncomfortable with her success.
“Educated and successful in a lane I created—my own lane. So a lot of times when people see you created something that maybe they couldn’t, admiration turns into envy.
Closing out the conversation, Bryant made it clear that the “Dr.” title isn’t going anywhere. When Mitchell pressed her on whether she was truly standing by it, Bryant’s answer was short and final. “Yeah, because I earned it. Absolutely.” She’s choosing to let her work speak for itself, leaving the critics to talk amongst themselves while she stays focused on the lane she’s built. “We’re going to leave it just as that,” she noted, effectively shutting down the debate.
