Drake has plans to revitalize an abandoned theme park that has rides designed by big artists such as Salvador Dali, Keith Haring, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The pieces have laid low in storage for 25 years, basically forgotten until now.

The Canadian native says he will open his own theme park in LA this winter, including a long-lost collection of rides designed by artists like Dali, Haring, and Basquiat, Complete Mysic Update reported.

The rapper’s entertainment company DreamCrew bought the collection – known as Luna Luna – last year for reportedly $100 million.

The park was originally featured in Hamburg, Germany in 1987 at the hands of Austrian artist André Heller. It was intended to make an appearance in San Deigo but somehow ended up in a storage unit in Texas before it caught Drake and his team’s attention.

“When Luna Luna first caught our attention, we knew we needed to be a driving force behind its resurrection”, says DreamCrew’s Anthony Gonzales.

“Not only was this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to rediscover a lost history and share the story with the world, but also gave us the ability to work with the most talented partners recreating the original vision, which still held so much untapped potential”.

An opening date hasn’t been released but it’s expected to happen within the next few weeks.
