Drake is still calling for Tory Lanez to be freed, despite the singer serving a ten-year prison stint for the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting.

During his “Drizzmas Giveaway” stream with Kick streaming star Adin Ross, Drizzy subtly voiced support for Lanez. While discussing his excitement for Young Thug’s post-incarceration music, Drake stated, “I can’t wait ‘till Thug drops. Drake and Thugger, of course.”

Turning to the chat, filled with fans celebrating Thug’s freedom, he appeared to add, “Free up T, man.” Reiterating, he admitted, “I know they don’t want to hear me say that, but free up T.”

Lanez, sentenced last year, has consistently denied involvement in the shooting and faced accusations of harassing Megan throughout the trial. The “Savage” rapper recently claimed to have proof of his ongoing harassment and requested a restraining order. Notably, in February, Drake posted a cryptic “3 you” alongside Lanez’s photo on Instagram, continuing his vocal support.

Drake and Ross’s December 26th stream featured lavish giveaways, including $100,000 for a Toronto entrepreneur, a trip to see Drake perform in Australia, luxury cars, and a year’s rent. While distributing the gifts, Drake also praised frequent collaborator Sexyy Red and referenced Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” diss.

As for Lanez, his team has not responded to Drake’s latest show of support.
