Chris Brown was hurt early Thursday morning when a brawl broke out at a New York nightclub where Drake was also partying, and bottles started flying.
The fight happened at W.i.P. in SoHo. Chris Brown later posted a photo of a cut on his chin, and several other people in the club were reportedly injured as glass flew across the room. Photos from the aftermath show the place torn up.
How it started depends on who you ask. According to early reports, Chris sent a bottle of champagne over to Drake’s section as a peace offering, and Drake’s side sent it back with a message about Rihanna. Things escalated from there. Drake’s camp has denied that he was involved in starting anything.
Chris did not hold back on Twitter afterward. He posted, then deleted, tweets calling out whoever threw the bottles and saying it was nothing to him.
Drake and Chris Brown have had tension for years, and most people believe Rihanna is the common denominator. Rihanna has dated both of them and was recently seen partying with Chris and his girlfriend Karrueche.
The police are investigating, and the club is a mess. Whatever this beef is really about, it’s time for somebody to let it go before someone gets seriously hurt.
