Drakeo The Ruler’s brother is now filing suit against the promoters behind the Los Angeles music festival where the rapper was fatally stabbed.

Attorneys for Drakeo’s brother Devante Caldwell (a.k.a. Ralfy The Plug) detailed the “violent mob attack” that occurred minutes before his brother arrived at the Once Upon a Time in LA festival last December.

The lawyers focused on alleged security-related issues at the festival, with Caldwell alleging that his brother made his entry through several checkpoints that he says weren’t secure enough.

A report in Rolling Stone also noted that this lawsuit comes from Devante and other Stinc Team members. The parties involved have alleged that the promoters’ negligence is to blame for Drakeo’s death and for the “severe physical and emotional harm” they claim they faced during the violent incident.

The lawsuit alleges that the attack lasted “up to 15 minutes” and involved between 50-100 people in the brawl.

The suit filed in Los Angeles named Live Nation, Snoop Dogg’s LLC, C3 Presents, Bobby Dee Presents, and more.
