Just days after Pusha T claimed in a diss track that Drake was hiding a child, TMZ published a report about a 2012 reality TV pilot tied to the woman media outlets have connected to the rumor. Drake had not publicly addressed the claim at the time, and nothing in the rumor has been confirmed.
According to TMZ, the show was called “Real Mistresses of Atlanta.” TMZ reported that it was created and produced by Mickey “Memphitz” Wright, who shopped it to TV executives. TMZ said a trailer introduced four lead women, including one who described herself as a French model who likes luxury.
TMZ’s sources said Oxygen was interested in the project, but no network picked it up. TMZ reported that no episodes or seasons are listed online.
TMZ’s report did not include on the record responses from Drake, from the woman featured in the trailer, or from Wright. Until someone involved speaks for themselves, this remains a rumor and a look back at an old pitch that never aired.
